Building Our Future.

Welcome to the Bull Swamp Colored School & Community Center — a place where history, education, culture, and community come together.

Once a place of learning for generations of African American children, the Bull Swamp Colored School represents the determination, resilience, and commitment to education that helped shape our community. Today, the site continues that legacy by serving as a gathering place dedicated to preserving our history while creating opportunities for future generations.

Our history matters. Our legacy lives on.
